Adirondack Fishing Photo Contest

The deadline to enter photos in the online Adirondack Fishing Photo Contest is Nov. 1, 2007. Skilled anglers can still submit their favorite Adirondack fishing memory at www.fishadk.com. The grand prize winning photographer will receive $500, second place, $200, and third, $100. Fishing has been, and continues to be, one of the top ranking travel motivators to the area and the Adirondack Regional Tourism Council provides anglers with fishing resources online and in print form with information on fishing excursions, guides and maps. There are more than 3,000 ponds and lakes and 1,500 miles of rivers in the Adirondacks, which was recently ranked by AllGetaways.com as the best tourist destination among 10,000 others throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean.
