Of the three finalists in the competition, Jim Osborn's photo "Northern Pike-Lake George" was selected as the first place winner. Second place went to Steve Harriger of Belfast, New York for his photo "Learning to Fly Fish-Cedar River Flow" with Christine S. of Clay, New York placing third for her photo "Air Pike!" The three winning photographs can be viewed at: http://www.fishadk.com.

There are more than 3,000 ponds and lakes and 1,500 miles of rivers in the Adirondacks for anglers to pursue bass, trout, walleyes, land-locked salmon, northern pike and muskies. Fishing has been, and continues to be, one of the top reasons people visit the Adirondacks, which was recently ranked by AllGetaways.com as the best tourist destination among 10,000 others throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean.
