Located in Tupper Lake, the Natural History Museum of the Adirondacks - a.k.a. the Wild Center - aims to inspire a broader public understanding of the natural systems that shape and sustain life in the Adirondacks through interactive exhibits and programs.
The Wild Center represents six million acres of Adirondack wilderness and the ecosystems found within.
The museum's campus and main building spread over 31 acres, and visitors are encouraged to go out and explore the grounds - and skies. Birders will find special paths designated to glimpsing bird species, stop by and visit the Otters and explore all that this unique museum has to offer.
