ATF is a professional summer theatre in the Adirondack, Capital District and Saratoga regions of upstate New York committed to producing new and contemporary works featuring musicals, plays and world premiers. Many world premieres have gone onto receive productions in New York City, across the country and internationally. ATF plays, musicals are never older than five years. Our productions are original works crafted for our audiences. For six weeks each summer professional artists, members of Actors' Equity Association, from New York City and across the country perform in the productions which includes three mainstage productions, a new play / workshop, and a late night cabaret. ATF is home to PB and J Cafe, Dinner Theater for Kids, bringing theatre to their younger audience and introducing children and youth to the world of theatre. Evening and matinee performances on select days and times. The 2017 season brings an electrifying musical, Nikola Tesla Drops the Beat, an electronic pop musical about one of history's greatest inventors; a new comedy, Knights of the Sales Office - conquering of corporate culture; this season the romantic comedy musical is The Boy in the Bathroom, sweet, quirky and heartfelt and mind-blowing entertainment will Glitches in Reality, an incredible close-up magic. The Cabaret series is Vienna Juvenile: Sketch Comedy; The Song of Bernadette by Frank Wildhorn, the 2017 Reading Series is Big Babies, A wonderfully funny new play reading about a surrogate mother, and PB&J Cafe: Dinner Theatre for Kids presents The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis.The 2017 season is late June through mid August; evening and matinee performances on select days and times.
