The Adirondack Museum is an internationally acclaimed regional museum dedicated to the history, culture and appreciation of the Adirondacks. Indoor and outdoor exhibit areas cover themes such as logging, mining, transportation, boats and boating, rustic furniture, outdoor recreation, early resorts and tourism. The New York Times described the museum as "the best of its kind in the world." Cafeteria and museum shop. Special Events: Numerous educational programs, demonstrations, lectures and conferences. No-Octane Regatta, Rustic Furniture Makers' Fair.

Open: Memorial Day-Columbus Day, daily, 10:00am-5:00pm. Admission Fee.
