Lake Champlain Beaches

The summer seems to be in full swing here in the Champlain Valley. We’ve gotten lots of requests for information about beaches and swimming on Lake Champlain. Here are some of my favorite spots for real sand beaches:

Point au Roche State Park
$6 per Car - $4 after 4pm
Canadian 15%
Open till Labor Day

Cumberland Bay State Park
Day Use 8am – 10pm
$6 per Car - $4 after 4pm
Canadian 15%
Open till Columbus Day

Plattsburgh City Beach
Day Use 11am – 7pm
$6 per Car, $3 Motorcycle, $2 Pedestrian/bike
Canadian at Par
Last Day: August 19th 2007

Ausable Point Campground
Day Use 8am – 10pm
$6 per Car - $4 after 4pm
Canadian 20%
Open till Labor Day

Noblewood Park
Day Use 9am – 7pm
$5 per Car
$35 Season
Open till Labor Day
