ADIRONDACK REGION, NY - This year, the Adirondack Region of Northern New York will send a dozen athletes to the Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver. What is it about this region that produces so many world-class athletes? There's something about its majestic mountains! So if you can't make it to Vancouver this year, Lake Placid's world-class Olympic village is the perfect place to create your own winter sports experience.
"Be a Biathlete" - Mount Van Hoevenberg provides a Biathlon experience that combines freestyle skiing and rifle marksmanship. Take a freestyle ski lesson for an hour, them meet at the Olympic shooting range to zero in on your shooting skills.
