Beartown has a T-bar and a Poma which serves 4 slopes. Total vertical drop is 150 ft. The area has been in operation since the 1950s and has an active ski team with about 70 youths, ages 5-12. Open weekends, Thur and Fri nights, and school vacations. A beginner area.
After being closed for 10 years, a group of volunteers has re-opened the Big Tupper Ski Area with nearly 2/3 of its trails being utilized. With a base elevation of 2000 feet and a 700 foot vertical, Big Tupper offers an Adirondack ski experience.
One trail with rope tow for beginner and novice skiers. Lighted for night skiing. Sledding, ice skating, warming hut. Half-mile, marked nature trail. Seasonal picnic and playground.

Lift-service snow tubing on exciting 800' chutes. "Village Slope" with triple chair, offers family-friendly skiing and terrain park with half-pipe. Food service available.
