Adirondack Snowshoeing

You are here: What to Do > Recreation > Snowshoeing

The Adirondack Region boasts more than 2,000 miles of hiking trails, traversing mountain peaks, winding through nature centers and along quiet forest paths. When winter's snow falls, these trails are transformed, offering incredible snowshoeing opportunities in the Adirondack Region's six-million-acres.

Experience the peaceful solitude of an Adirondack landscape blanketed in snow. Sight-see on the back-country trails, or explore the miles of trails maintained by Nordic ski centers throughout the region. Many ski centers offer multi-use trails for snowshoeing and Adirondack cross-country skiing.
