I grew up in Lake Placid, and spent all of my time in the lakes and on the mountains. My parents would basically let me out in the morning like a dog, and I'd come back to eat meals throughout the day. We were always outside!
The Adirondacks is a unique and spiritually powerful place. It has a magical way of making a stressed out person feel peaceful and calm. It brings out your inner child, and you can't help but have a good time. When you're there, you feel healthier and happier, and ultimately more connected with yourself and what truly matters in life. I treasure my time in the Adirondacks!
I have a passion for helping people live healthy, happy, and fulfilling lives. I did not ultimately plan to get into the wellness field, but continually felt drawn to this line of work. I noticed that wellness was filling up most of my free time, so I decided to run with it! My approach to wellness involves both the mind and body. Too many people don't realize that being healthy doesn't end with physical health.
I now help people through both coaching, writing, and yoga. I love yoga, and can say with certainty that my life is way better because of it. I hope to inspire others to incorporate yoga into their lives so they can experience the personal journey as well. I am a big believer of not only practicing in a studio, but also unrolling your mat outside so you can really connect with nature and the present moment. The Adirondacks is one of the best places to practice outside!
