The 1853 cut-stone Greek Revival mansion, surrounded by scenic grounds and gardens, overlooks Lake Champlain. The 18-inch-thick stones used in the mansion were quarried in nearby Willsboro, the same site where stone for the base of the Brooklyn Bridge was obtained. The interior features a mahogany gothic-style library, original furnishings from the Empire period, and an Adirondack camp display. Group tours on request.
