Tug Hill Wildlife Management Area comprises almost 5000 acres in Lewis County. This area is desolate and rugged in both terrain and climate. Dirt truck trails or logging roads, mixed balsam fir, red spruce, and laders. Yellow-bellied and Least flycatchers, kinglets, Cedar Waxwings, Hermit Thrushes,Warblers, Sparrows. Ruffed Grouse, American Woodcock, Northern Goshawk, and a variety of Warblers, Thrushes, Vireos and Flycatchers.
