Head to Indian Lake during President's Week for Snocade! This 10 day celebration will include activities such as fireworks, snowmobile demonstrations, breakfast outings, a craft fair and more!

Snocade Schedule:

Friday February 14, 2020: Snocade Kick Off

3 p.m. - 5 p.m.: Story Time Plus, Indian Lake Library. Theme: Valentine's Day.
4 p.m. - 5 p.m.: Happy Hour, Indian Lake Restaurant. Enjoy drink specials and a special Valentine's Day menu.
6 p.m.: Tricky Tray to benefit Indian Lake Central School Travel Club, Indian Lake Central School Gym. Door prizes and themed trays will be raffled off. Night of raffle $2/envelope of tickets.
7 p.m.: Little Women movie showing, Indian Lake Theater. $7 for adults, $5 under 18.

Saturday February 15, 2020

7 a.m. - 10 a.m.: Breakfast, Indian Lake Fire Hall. Choice of eggs, ham, sausage, pancakes, and home fries.
10 a.m. - 11 a.m.: Ice Lantern Workshop, Indian Lake Library. How-to's for making lanterns for Light Up the Library Event.
10 a.m. - 11 a.m.: Story Time Plus-, Indian Lake Library. Theme: Winter animals.
10 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.: Friends of the Library Book & Cookies Sale, Indian Lake Town Hall. Used books and cookies for sale, and all ages welcome.
10 a.m. - 4 p.m.: Winter Wonderland Craft Show, Indian Lake Central School Gym. Sponsored by Indian Lake Chamber of Commerce. Also featuring the Indian Lake Central School Trap Team Bake Sale!
11 a.m. - 3 p.m.: Snowmobile Time Trials to benefit Indian Lake Snow Warriors, Adirondack Lake. ¼-mile time run. $5 for 2 runs. Food for sale.
11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.: Straw Bale Garden 2019 Round Up and 2020 Preview, Indian Lake Library. Round Table Recap of 2019 sharing tips, wins, losses, and how-to's for 2020.
6 p.m.: Fireworks, bonfire, Torch Light Parade, and s'mores- Indian Lake Ski Hill.
7:30 p.m.: Little Women movie showing, Indian Lake Theater. $7 for adults, $5 under 18.

Noon - 2 p.m.: Kitty Kat Races, Byron Park.
2 p.m.: Little Women movie showing, Indian Lake Theater. $7 for adults, $5 under 18.
6:30 p.m. - 9 p.m.: Adult Broom Ball Game, Indian Lake Ski Hill. BYOB: Bring Your Own Broom!
7 p.m.: Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker movie showing, Indian Lake Theater. $7 for adults, $5 under 18.
Monday February 17, 2020

10 a.m.: Cold water rescue demonstration, Chain Lake Road. Indian Lake Volunteer Fire Department will demonstrate how to rescue a person or animal from cold water.
11 a.m. - 4 p.m.: Helicopter rides, Indian Lake Central School. 5-minute flights $40/person, cash only. Sponsored by Indian Lake Chamber of Commerce.
1 p.m.: Cardboard sled race, Indian Lake Ski Hill. Prizes for: fastest sled, best use of cardboard, most creative design, and funniest wipeout.
2 p.m.: Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker movie showing, Indian Lake Theater. $7 for adults, $5 under 18.
7 p.m.: Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker movie showing, Indian Lake Theater. $7 for adults, $5 under 18.

9 a.m. - 2 p.m.: DIY sock snowman project, Byron Park. Hosted by North Country Crafters, supplies provided.
10 a.m. - 4 p.m.: Tubing trip to Oak Mountain. $10/person 3rd grade and up; children must be 3-ft tall. Pre-registration required. Call Josselyn 518-648-5828.
11 a.m. - 1 p.m.: Story Time Plus, Indian Lake Library. Theme: snowflake science.
3 p.m. - 4 p.m.: Story Time Plus, Indian Lake Library. Theme: winter birds.
7 p.m.: Snocade Starscape, Indian Lake Theater. Lecture/ observation of the Adirondack dark skies.
Wednesday February 19, 2020

8 a.m. - 4 p.m.: Snowmobile safety course, Byron Park. Pre-registration required. Call Patricia 518-414-2963.
7 p.m.: Pickleball free play, Indian Lake Central School Gym. Equipment available with no experience needed. Come out to learn a new game!
6 p.m. - 8 p.m.: Light Up the Library. Join us for a celebration of stories, games, and activities with light refreshments. Indoor and outdoor activities. Participants will "light up the library" with homemade ice lanterns, a fire pit, complete with s'mores. Indoor events to include scavenger hunts and games.
Thursday February 20, 2020

11 a.m. - 1 p.m.: Story Time Plus, Indian Lake Library. Theme: snow people.

4 p.m. - 6 p.m.: Story Time Plus, Indian Lake Library. Theme: winter landscapes.
5 p.m. - 8 p.m.: Baked potato dinner, Legion Hall. Sponsored by Indian Lake Snow Warriors. $8/ person.
