Love to bicycle and Love the Lake - this is a fun, healthy and leisurely way to spend a summer day on the Queen of the American Lakes!

Two options to choose from - bicycle from the Village of Lake George north along Lake Shore Drive - State Route 9N to Steamboat Landing - Baldwin Dock near the Town of Ticonderoga - there board the MV Mohican and enjoy the Southern Adirondack scenery on a leisurely cruise and unwind from your ride. The MV Mohican is the oldest continuously operated tour boat in America ~ she was launched in 1908.

The ride is 39.7-miles - Canada Street / State Route 9 to Lake Shore Drive / State Route 9N north to Bolton Landing - over Tongue Mountain - the elevation grade is 674-feet over 2.75-miles; first elevation of 1.25-miles grade is 503-feet; second elevation is 189-feet over 1.5-miles. From Hague continue to Steamboat Landing / Baldwin Dock near Ticonderoga.

Your second option is to cruise aboard the MV Mohican to Steamboat Landing - Baldwin Dock and return by bike to the Village of Lake George via Lake Shore Drive - State Route 9N.

Please Note: if you choose to bike north your timing is important - recommended start time is 6:45am. You must allow ample time to meet the MV Mohican - please arrive at Steamboat Landing - Baldwin Dock by 12:30pm. The MV Mohican will depart at 1pm. If you are late - you will miss the boat.

  • Another note of importance is there is NO cell reception north of Bolton Landing.

Family, friends and supporters not biking may take the Full Lake cruise, fee applies, which sails at 10am.

Reservations are required, please call to book your bicycle cruise. Fees apply for one-way cruise and also there is a bike transport fee either option you choose. North cruise boarding begins at 9:30am; departure time is 10m.
