A view from any angle of this magnificent fort overlooking Lake Champlain is breathtaking. Visitors will discover the original ruins of the 18th-century structures. Recreational opportunities abound including snowshoeing, cross country skiing, hiking, biking and picnicking. The marked trails are great and this site is also well-recognized as a Bird Conservation Area with more than 180 species observed including many migratory birds. The Crown Point State Historic Site is accessible and features interpretive signs.
