Wild Center and Wild Walk

Wild Center and Wild Walk

An official Path Through History Site! The 115-acre Wild Center in the Adirondacks is an all-day outdoor experience. The Wild Center earns praise from around the world for how it lets visitors of all ages get closer to the natural world. There are trails, guided canoe trips on the river that runs by the Center’s campus, and a staff ready to show you around and answer questions about the wild world of the Adirondacks. Wild Walk is the star of the Center’s outdoor experience. More than 1,000 feet of bridges and platforms rise up into and eventually over the top of a living Adirondack forest. It includes a four-story tree house, swinging bridges, a spider’s web where people can hang out, and a giant-sized bald eagle’s nest where visitors can look over the Adirondacks from a rare point of view.
