Cooper's Cave bring interesting history to great fiction.

Cooper's Cave is the site of the fictional hiding place of Hawkey and his companions made famous in the James Fenimore Cooper novel, The Last of the Mohicans.

Located under the Cooper's Cave Bridge which connects the City of Glens Falls and the Village of South Glens Falls. There is a viewing platform with interpretive information for visitors to view the site and the flowing Hudson River and learn about James Fenimore Cooper and the legacy of the Mohican people in the Adirondacks.

Located a short driving distance from the Cooper's Cave Ale Co. featuring some of the best craft beern gourmet sodas and ice cream in the Adirondacks.

Cooper's Cave Overlook is open seasonally from May 1st until October 31st.

Parking for Cooper's Cave Overlook can be found right off Cooper's Cave Drive in South Glens Falls. Additional parking can be found at South Glens Falls Historical Park.
