The Adirondack Mountain Clubs Cascade Welcome Center is a one-stop shop for visitor information, outdoor recreation, and more. Visible from Route 73, it is conveniently located between Keene and Lake Placid. In the summer months, Cascade Welcome Center serves visitors as an information center. In the winter, it is a ski and snowshoe destination. Summer Season (April – October) Whether you are aiming for a high peak or looking for a place to relax, Cascade Welcome Center is your one-stop shop for planning a trip to the Tri-Lakes area. From April through October, our staff offer visitor information, restrooms, and basic outdoor gear retail for the public. We welcome any all visitors to stop in and speak with our expert staff! Summer Hours: 7 days a week, 8am – 4pm Winter Season (November – March) From dense, snowy forests to open views of Cascade Mountain, Cascade Welcome Centers 12 mile (20km) network of groomed cross-country skiing and snowshoeing trails offers a little bit of everything. To help visitors enjoy this place, we rent and sell cross-country ski setups (skis, bindings, and footwear) and snowshoes. We also stock other winter recreation necessities for purchase.
