The Lake Placid Marathon, Half Marathon, and 10K is a premier early‑season race set in the historic Olympic Village of Lake Placid. This USATF‑certified course features a mix of flat and rolling terrain with Adirondack mountain views, shaded stretches, a scenic trout stream, and a loop along Mirror Lake. Each year, runners from more than 40 states and several countries participate, making it a popular race that sees registration often fill up quickly. The marathon also serves as a Boston Marathon qualifier.
