ADKs High Peaks Information Center (HPIC) at Heart Lake is a year-round resource for hikers, backpackers, snowshoers, and cross-country skiers. Ask our staff for help with trip planning, the latest weather report, current trail conditions, or to buy a map and guidebook. The HPIC sells guidebooks and maps as well as last-minute backcountry itemsbatteries for your flashlight, First-Aid kits, insect repellent, trail mix, and so on.
