A 500-acre preserve includes the headwaters for Indian Brook and contains important wildlife habitat within. There are four hiking trails for passive recreation, exploration, education and two water access points. The park has flat and easy forested trails for cross-country skiing, hiking and snowshoeing. The park includes lookout areas where you can view the active beaver pond and its resident wildlife, as well as a view of Lake George. You can hike the perimeter of the Park via the yellow trail to the red trail to the north pond on the blue trail; go south from the blue trail to the orange trail to the parking lot. There are two boat launch areas south pond and north pond for canoe or kayak. Amy's Park is maintained by the Lake George Land Conservancy.
